Yum configuration
HI friend I want to configure my yum on my rhcl 5 but i have created 1 gb var partition I for yum i need to dump my whole rhcl 5 dev on it;s so is there any way to increase the var partition without destory var or any method to configure yum in this case

I don't know much about YUM, but for resizing partitions and other partitioning chores, you'll find that the tools on the Parted Magic LiveCD are very easy to use. It's a small download and quick burn to disk, and it comes with a GUI that makes using it about as easy as can be. Lots of other handy to have tools also reside on the liveCD.
