Stereo Setup
Hi All,
I'm starting to conceptualize what I want with my stereo setup in my home...right now it's very disconfigured, two different amps, plus my personal 5.1 on my computer, overall just really disfunctional.
What I'm looking for:
1. Multi channel speaker setup to run through my entire house
2. Able to control individual channels (for each room) from a switch (or even better from a computer), I'll install Linux MCE on it
3. Speakers controlled by mini desktop that I will build (I've read that you can build them so they use less energy than a light bulb, I'm exploring this more)
4. Use for music as well as surround sound and as computer speakers
So I guess the starting point is what would I need for the switch for the speakers? This process probably won't start for a year or so but I want to start building a list of what I'll need.
I'd also like it setup to where I can have let's say stereo going in one room while using it for surround sound in another.
I'm assuming this won't be easy but it'll be functional and easier in the end. Thanks all!Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
