    connecting to a winxp computer

    I have a friend who is always using my computer and never boots it back into linux after he uses windows is there any way that i can remotely controll my windows xp from a linux computer on the same network through ssh or telnet

    doesnt winxp have something like that buildt in?

    Anyway, i think "radmin" might be what you are looking for, but im not 100% shure.

    You can try rdesktop. If it's not installed on your computer, download it from, That's the Linux client. The server has to be activated in XP's System Properties (or whatever it's called...). I don't hink it's available in XP Home, though.
