[SOLVED] Where is my Seahorse PGP key located?

Oh dear, I don't seem to be having much luck migrating to new shiny Ubuntu Jaunty

I forgot to export my personal 'private PGP key' that I use to encrypt some sensitive docs with (such as my passwords - I know, I know, I am going to get around to using KeePassX asap!).

Anyhoo, I backed-up my entire /home partition (inc. hidden files/folders) safe 'n' sound before wiping, so I was wondering if there is any way I can recover this key from my backup. In other words, is my key stored as a file somewhere in /home that I can import into Seahorse or am I screwed because I didn't back it up in the proper way before I wiped?

TIA for your advice and compassion.

    Hi all.

I've solved my own problem through research and trial & error. This is what I did:

    1. Kill seahorse-agent process: $ sudo pkill seahorse
    2. Show hidden files & delete/backup the contents of "/home/.gnupg" directory
    3. Copy contents of backed-up ".gnupg" directory to current one
    4. Restart seahorse-agent process or reboot

This worked for me. I'll leave the thread open for a day or two for any comments/scathing criticisms & then mark solved.
