minimizing bar
Hello, I am a newbie to linux and have recently come back from a stint away from home, only to find that my minimizing bar in Firefox is near where to be found. I don't know if its linux or firefox, but it has become a real nuisance as I cant minimize any windows to get back to the desktop. Could you please tell me how I can enable my minimizing bar so I am able to enjoy the internet once more.
Thank you
Adam

Hello and Welcome.
Do you see this problem on all your programs or just Firefox? Have you tried messing with Firefox skins/themes to see if this is causing the problem?I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Does Minimize option appear when you right click on the Title Bar?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Try clicking F11. That sometimes helps.

Well, it's not a problem, but a feature. F11 switches between full screen and windowed mode.
Even in full screen mode, when I move the mouse to the top some additional controls to manipulate the window appears in the top right corner. Not sure when that was introduced.
