    Post Backup For Fedora 10

Hi I have installed Fedora 10 on my system.Due to some power problems the pc was shutdown improperly so next time when I booted my box I was taken to The command prompt which asked me to enter the root password and then run the fsck to check for disk inconsistencies. After this I successfully logged in,but AGAIN there was improper shutdown a couple of times and the OS was corrupted due to which I had to reinstall. So what is the solution to avoid this.Obviously avoiding improper shutdown is one,but if that can't be controlled. How can I create a backup to rescue my installation if it happens again. Thanks

Please rephrase your question in the form of not using annoying fonts. Otherwise I sincerely doubt anyone will respond helpfully.
