Hi can anyone advise me how to setup a internal mail server. I installed webmin to make the configuration easier. Is sendmail the right option? Can someone please point me to a tutorial on this issue.

What Linux distribution are you using? Sendmail can do the job, but its not always the default on some systems. It could be that Exim or Postfix are installed instead.

o sorry I forgot to mention - running centos 5.3 and sendmail seems to be the default

The above URL does not assist with configuring the mail server through webmin; rather its through the CLI. A helpful resource nevertheless if you are willing to configure via CLI
