Smile How to delete root's email?

    Hi,

I have installed SendMail server in my server with CentOS 5.3.

When it's unable to send an email, it sends error message back to root.

    I don't want those emails.
I wanna delete root's emails, e.g every hour.

    How to do that?

Hi and welcome to the forums. I don't think you should completely disregard the email sent to root because some of the emails are about the system e.g. package management, logs, etc which may help diagnose system problems, intrusions etc. Why not configure sendmail to forward roots mail to a normal user account and then you can delete the mail that you do not want?
