    Question Creating Linux Slices

    Hello LF, I am interested in getting a server and splitting it between myself and some friends. I might expand this into a business if me and my friend are able to work out a system for our group on our small scale.

    I come to you guys with a rather limited knowledge of linux, but I'm willing to learn. I've rented many servers before and have run applications and software varying from shoutcast servers to voip chatting.

    What I'm interested in doing now, though, is creating slices out of a dedicated server, into a few virtual private servers. What are the most efficient methods of doing this?

    Did you decide on a course of action yet? I stumbled across this page and thought of your question. I haven't tried it myself, but The HowToForge articles I have tried were pretty good.
