    visudo usage

I can't seem to get sudo working at all. after changing the sudoer file, trying sudo does the same thing every time. I have tried using NOPASSWD option as well, same results. I'm a programmer, so i am used to "playing" with things to observe their results. But in this case I could not get any differing results when changing the sudoer file. The only thing I noticed that could be a problem is that the root accounts username is "jettlagg" which I set when i first installed. After attempting sudo it says... its been a few days so i dont remember exact wording, something about: root and password, and there is a ! at the end of the sentence....it makes me thing either 1) some where i have to give the password when i give the sudo command(which I have tried in various ways), 2) there is a file somewhere which i need to provide the password/ or use root account to let sudo know that the given user can use sudo(which sounds like it sudoer, which i have played around with as well), or 3) sudo is trying to use user "root", but the root user is "jettlagg". i'm using zenwalk core. a bug maybe?

You don't need to reinstall always.

There is fix for most of the errors. but if your fine with reinstall, then there's no problem.
