Live-CD freezes
Have a bit of a problem, I would like to test a Linux distro, but my computer does not agree with me
.
I boot up fine, but then my computer freezes after a short period of time. It could be after 3 minutes or it could be after 30 minutes. It seems pretty random when it happens. Have been testing with several different distros, but they do it all, unfortunately.
Is there anything I can change to get it working again?

Do you by chance have an integrated intel graphics card?

Not quite sure.
I have a ABIT Ab9 Pro motherboard, if that does any help?

If you can, before it freezes, get the output of
Code:lspci -vnn

I've had similar problems like that with hardware that has issues with APIC and bridge controllers (USB, etc). In fact, I'm working on a system for my lawyer today that has such issues. By booting the live CD/DVD with the noapic option, it is running much more stably now and is no longer generating APIC/CPU0 errors.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
