Using Banshee
hello
i'm new to Linux and have just started using Banshee. what I'm trying to do at the moment is transfer songs from an album I just downloaded into Banshee, but it wont let me drag and drop into banshee.
The other thing that I've been trying to figure out is how to get a playlist from the ipod into banshee, as again it wont let me do this by dragging and dropping.

If someone could help me with even one of the questions it would be good. Even a link to the information is fine. I'm just struggling to resolve this.

Banshee project has a mailing list and a real-time chat for support. Why not ask there?

I guess no one uses banshee.

I downloaded it to take a look. At the top left under the Media menu, there are options for Importing Media and Importing Playlists. Under Import Media is where you can choose to add files and folders to the media library. I don't have an ipod to test out importing playlists from it for synchronizing with banshee.

thanks for taking the time to download it, even though you obviously don't use Banshee. But someone else told me how to do it now.
Select "Local Folder" as source -> Import Media Source -> and now you can select the specific folder.
