Strange graphic/possible flash player problem..

This is gonna be very hard to explain but I'll try my best, if you can't understand it I'll make a video.
I'm running the latest version of Ubuntu and I have a HP G-Series laptop and an Intel graphics card.

So whenever I try to click something in my browser like for instance, a YouTube video. you can't pause it, rewind it or anything. When you try to move the player or click pause it just ignores the click and you can sort of see the mouse glitching. It also happens on other things like Start Game buttons on online games and stuff. I don't know much about flash but I'm guessing that stuff is generated by flash? Anyway, it only happens on stuff that seems like it could be made by flash or some other thing like that. Not just regular links or anything. could this problem possibly be from the flash player?

Again it's difficult to explain sorry. Just let me know and I'll make a screen recording of it.

I have the same issued.
I fixed by removing the FlashPlayer from Adobe and installing Gnash the OpenSource version.

However this might not be what you'd require I'd give it a go if I where you

i also have some issues with flash :/
i have ubuntu 9.04 64-bit and adobe flash doesn't run in opera
it also behaves a bit erratic in firefox

is the gnash plugin superior to adobe?
can it save the videos as they play??
(or am i being way to optimistic...

You're being way too optimistic.

Gnash and swfdec are the two open source flash players. I haven't tried either for a few months, but I found them barely functional at the time.

I think gnash is being more actively developed, so maybe the more recent releases have improved. It's worth a try. It will conflict with the adobe flash plugin, so make sure to remove that.

Have you looked at this for flash with Opera?
