    How to increase the treble with alsa?

    The sound out of the speakers does not have anything like enough treble. How do you fiddle about with this side of things? Surely there is some sort of graphic equaliser or something?

    Thanks both. Using Debian Lenny 5.0, current stable. Alsamixer was my thought, but it does not seem to do anything but turn stuff on and off, you cannot use it to change the quality of the sound. Surely this is a fundamental thing and it must be easy to do?
