    Wink adminstrator password lost

    A friend installed Linux on my computer 4 months ago and is now out of town. I need to access the administrator password in order to install codecs to play Quicktime. How do I retrieve the adminstrator password ? I am a newbie so please give step by step answers. Thanks!
