    Angry APT Help Please...

    Hello,
Being new to Linux, (just left Windows XP, and not going to go to 7), all has been well with my system for a few days now... However, I installed Webmin, and then APT started to fail... All else seems fine, but load is up a bit...

I get an Ign message in front of the URLs'... Any suggestions?

I would post a cut, but being new, the form will not allow me to post URL's for the next 13 posts...

    Dave

Is webmin working or did the install fail?
Can you post (or attach) /etc/apt/sources.list

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Webmin is working just fine, as far as I can tell, I however can not post my sources list because of the restriction on new users posting URL's. I fully understand the restriction, it is just a bit frustrating is all... Can I email it to you?

Can you attach the file to your post?

Also you could copy and paste the error to a text file and attach it.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get --purge remove webmin
    ?

    Uninstall / Remove Webmin Software

    Or use Synaptic to uninstall

    Hi,
I may end up doing that, but I want to understand what happened before I try and fix it. I believe Webmin overwrote something during install.

Good idea... However I am still under restriction for newness...

No go, I thought I had tried that at first... I just have to get past my 15 post limit... At this rate it won't be long.

You can get around the 15-post restriction for posting links by removing any of the following characters from your post, or by putting spaces between the characters:

    http
    www
    @
    oz
