    Bad PBR sig

    hi

    i have done dual boot of Redhat linux and solaris10 os
    after reboot the Bad PBR sig error is displaying.
    i think the boot loader is not detecting.
    so pls give me the solution to fix it.

    Solaris uses a different boot loader than linux. I think you can install it in a DOS-style boot loader, but since I run x86 Solaris in a virtual machine I don't know for sure how you would tell it to use non-solaris MBR. In any case, I think you are fubar and will have to rewrite the master boot record (MBR/PBR), then reinstall the operating systems. FWIW, I think fdisk can read/write both MBR types, so if you boot from a linux rescue/live CD you might be able to fix the boot record without munging the installations, but I haven't tried that so I don't know for sure (caveat user!).
