    Password Screen Question

    Hello,

After I log in, and the screen saver has kicked in, I get a password screen, which is all white, but for the password entry area. i.e. The background image is all white... Where can I change this to either a different color, or an image? This is not the initial screen I see after a boot, but the screen which comes up only after the screen saver kicks in...

    Thanks,
    Dave

What distro are you using? Desktop environment? I believe with Ubuntu/GNOME, you can save the image of your choice at /usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/background-default.jpg

    Hi,
Thanks for teh answer... Using Debian/Gnome. I did a locate for background-default.jpg, and found nothing... The path indicated, ends a /usr/ share... I will look some more...
