    What Linux Distro?

    Hey guys,
I have an older dell that windows thought to get a virus.
but I am looking to get linux, and I dis-like the look of ubuntu, and I would like something that feels like windows, but what I need to do is
Burn .gcn and .iso files and download with j-downloader, and surf with fire fox,

    what should I get?
I'm going to try PCLinuxos, is that anygood?

    Welcome to the forums!

Lots of users like PCLinuxOS very much, but you'd have to try it yourself to determine if you like it, and if it likes your hardware. Any of the top 10 or so distros at DistroWatch.com should be good for you to test, but it would be easier for others to suggest some distro options if you can post the specs for your machine.

Check this thread for the proper steps to download and burn the ISO files to disk as images:

You'll find a link there to some good burning applications, as well.

We do not discuss illegal activities on this forum. I would recommend very strongly that you refrain from making reference to things like this in the future.
