    What distro is for me?

I'm semi new to Linux, I use ubuntu for a little while.
I'm tired of Windows and looking for something new, I've been aware of linux for some time now but not sure what distro is for me.

    -I'm a gamer
    -Photo Editor (GIMP)
    -Video Maker (Screen Recorder)
-Firefox person (I hear Firefox comes pre-installed)
    -Messenger Person (Aim, Skype, MSN)

And there are so many distributions I just am not sure.. I did try Guild Wars on Wine on Ubuntu but it just didn't seem like it was working right, I think I did it wrong.

    Please Help.

from my limited experience Ubuntu has the best software support and would be best for most of those things. Maybe you could try Ubuntu with a different desktop like KDE, or E17 and see how you like it. Firefox comes with every Linux Ive seen. I like Chrome the best though =)

    Hello and Welcome!

As far as which one to try, you might consider taking a "Distro Quiz" for some ideas. Try the ones located here, or here.
Both are fairly good at helping you pick your first distro. You should also look to Distrowatch, as any one of the top 10 listed should do well for a new user.
As far as your criteria, the only one that might give you an issue is gaming... not a strong point for Linux. That being said, you can set up a dual boot system to have the best of both worlds.
