    Dual Boot?

Hello all, this is my first post here and I have a question... as you may have guessed =P.... but anyway I have a lot of stuff on my Laptop (I am currently using) and I am using Windows Vista, but I want to, I think it's called dual boot, where I can use both Linux and Windows. The only thing is, I am not entirely sure how to do this, I used to have it done on one of my other Computers, but I forgot how I did it, I am currently downloading the newest version of Ubuntu and I want to be able to run both. Thanks in advance
    -Pete

    Welcome to the forums!

Check this HowTo for info on downloading the ISO file, burning it to disk as an image, and then booting with the newly created installation disk:

During the installation, the installer will give you the option to dual-boot.
