    Ran into an issue

So I am just trying distro's and downloaded:

slackware64-13.0-install-dvd.iso and made it into a USB install.

I get it running..going through menus...which I was just trying my best..

Than on the option it asked about a USB boot key? What is this? I did it though which was a mistake.

Thank god my work is near by and I was able to make a live cd usb from fedora and install over it getting my PC back.

So was the only mistake the USB boot key?

    Or did I miss something?

It sounds like you enabled some sort of drive security and/or encryption of the usb drive when you installed slackware. I've never used it (slackware), so this is just surmise.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
