Hi there. I have Ubuntu 8.04 and have often had problem playing audio on internet. A friend suggested it was my Audacity player dominance thing & i just open that first... now it plays (literally) every second day on internet & some days it is audacity that wont work.

What should I do now to fix this? I am a rookie, so need laymens terms please
