Asus Eee PC CPU N280 - Howto install

i have this mini laptop asus eee pc with an n280 processor.
is there any guide or tutorial that can enlighten my way to install linux on this tiny machine?

Tons of them. But you're not giving us much to go on. Google can help you and I can point you in a direction.

I used the Fedora LiveUSB creator to put Fedora 12's LiveCD onto my usb stick. I booted and installed from that.

Or you could use an external CD/DVD-ROM.

If you've got the SSD version of the Eee PC, then you have a storage space problem 'cos your system disk is 4GB. Do a minimal install (whatever distro you choose) and add the packages you want afterwards.

Since you specifically asked about an eee PC, maybe you want to check out these: DebianEeePC and
eeebuntu.

I only know of their existence though, so I can't recommend either one.
