    No, it wasn't moved. But as this section is for Linux Newbies, I figured Chris was in need of an 64Bit Linux based operating system. So I pointed him to the best place I know.

    If you mean the link isn't working, it's working fine for me.

    Most distributions have a 64-bit version available, so if you don't want Debian you can check the download sections for other distros for their 64-bit release.

    sorry i dont understand all this,how many versions are there?
    i just want to try a 64bit operating system of linux,when i google it im having trouble finding a link i can download from

    You can download the 64-bit version of Ubuntu from here (choose the 64-bit option):

    Download | Ubuntu

    hi

    manged to try it via the disc i burned,however i couldnt install it,but i think thats due to it not recognising my hard drive partiition

    also it wouldnt recognise my graphic card drivers nviida 6 and 8 series?
