Share from Ubuntu to Windows7
Why can I not share those extra hdd that is in my Linux PC?
Those hdd in the red ring I can shared with Windows 7 (the same as Linux OS is on), but those in the yellow call can not I access through W7.
I have installed Samba on Linux 10.04.
When I try to tick the samba share, it will not be checked. It goes back to the linux server name (the name of Linux my server).
Look at the picture(need to change out the xx with tt

The URL you provided is not in english, and it seems to require that one be logged in to provide the info you are trying to show. I'm not sure what you are getting at with reference to "red ring" or "yellow". Also, though you say you have installed Samba, you don't say anything about how you have configured it. I use samba on my workstation/server with a dozen drives and have no problem accessing any of them that I have allowed sharing on from Windows.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

I have instal Samba, and used this(in this "help setup"):
hxxp://ubuntuguide.net/how-to-share-ubuntu-home-directory-with-windows
BUT I did`t understand this:
Now,you should be able to map a drive on Windows by following share format:
//ubuntumachine/username
Now,you should be able to map a drive on Windows by following share format:
//wraith-desktop/wraith
