How to do I become administrator in Red Hat 8

I have been scratching my head for the last couple of hours. I was wondering how I become administrator in RedHat 8. I set up a normal user profile, and this is becoming a headache, as I need to know how I can change file permissions. I just can find out where I become administrator.

When you installed Redhat, it ask you at some point what pasword do you want for the administrator or root acount? That's what you'll use for root's pwd. So you'll login as "root" with the password you picked at install.
