I bought laptop HP ProBook 4520s (Core i3, ATI Mobility Radeon 4350, 4GB 1333MHz Ram).

I'm looking for the best Linux distro to install on it. With which distro do you think it will cooperate best?

I had a problem with Ubuntu 10.04 (stripes when playing video).

Welcome to the forum. Your hardware is quite capable of running any distribution out there quite well, so your choice in Linux distributions is really a matter of personal preference and aesthetics than hardware ability. I'd recommend looking at the most popular distributions on DistroWatch for some good starters. There's also a useful tool in this thread to help steer you in the right direction:

As for your video issue, it's more than likely dealing with the drivers for your ATI card. Please start a thread with a subject that mentions this problem in the Ubuntu section of the forum and we'll be more than happy to help you out.
