I'll quickly check if after I've mounted it, fstab still shows the same info. I think it will but I'll check anyways. The other thing I'm thinking about is will I have to mount manually every time I log in? I'll do some tests/reboot it to find out. Not a big deal, but I'm thinking I'm still missing something related to the install.

You can configure /etc/fstab later after you have finished installing to add lines that can make mount automatic at boot.
