asus eeepc super user
i finally got this computer working, figured out how to open a terminal tried installing driver update and it says i need super user privileges. i tried finding this in the help section and got no where, any idea how to get these prilages?

Depending on how your machine is setup, it's usually going to be accomplished by entering either sudo, or su in a terminal:
or...Code:sudo
In both cases, you must enter the proper password when it's requested.Code:su

I believe the asus eeepc comes with xandros as the Linux distribution. Take a look at the site below to see if anything looks familiar. Has lots of information on how to use it if this is the OS.

thanks for the web site, i read the web site above and im trying to update adobe and it says to use .APT-get, well when i try to downnload it from adobe.com i gives me this error.
firefox doesnt know how to open this address because, the protocol(APT) isn't associated with any programs.

where do i download these filles too, it says desktop but that is not one of my choices. i keep typing what it says and gives me errors that the file doesnt exist, i check splling, i double chck spelling same results.

My Documents Folder is where I would download it to when I had Xandros. Don't run it anymore though.
