kopete and yahoo chats

Hi, I just installed kopete so I can join yahoo chats with voice so I was told.
Now when I got to get into the chats it requires me to verify my account. Well I don't see a link or anything to do that.
Anybody else use kopete to join yahoo chats? If so then how do you verify your account?
If kopete doesn't work then what other software can I join the yahoo chats with that has the voice working? thanks

kopete works for me w/yahoo clients - doesn't do yahoo conferences though.

pidgin works - does conference (istr)

gyachi works - and has some interesting features.

also there's yahoo's own webmessenger

and i've run yahoo im client under wine with some success.

also yahoo actual on windoze using virtualbox.

with none of these am i asked to verify my account after actually signing in and going online.
