i am new to linux i installed linux and also i copy the rar and unrar files to bin but when i try to unrar file name below error ...

hello
i am new to linux i installed linux and also i copy the rar and unrar files to bin but when i try to unrar file name below error shows can please any help me out for this
unrar: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.7' not found (required by unrar)

Which Linux distro/version are you using? How did you install unrar?It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

RHEL5 and the glibc is 2.5 when i run unrar or rar it shows error

Are you trying to install unrar or unpacking rar files with it? How did you install unrar?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Install it using Package Manager of RHEL. Have you purchased License of RHEL from RedHat?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
