Which LXDE version has the newest version of Firefox and Open Office?
I tried burning the customizable NimbleX: custom.nimblex.net

Which LXDE version has the newest version of Firefox and Open Office?
I tried burning the customizable NimbleX: custom.nimblex.net

I want a newer version of Firefox and Open Office on LXDE.
I tried Mint LXDE, which might have been pretty good too, but it had some issue of blanking and requiring relogin (user id: mint, password: blank) after I opened Hotmail.
When you think about it, the Web Browser and the Word Processing Program are the most important and essential Apps.
Soo... I am trying to run this off of a live CD for now.
Are there any versions of LXDE on LiveCD that use newer versions of Firefox (or at least another good browser) and Open Office (oo seems better than abi)?

You can do a search at the link below that might give you information on which distributions have which packages if that will help you to find what you are looking for:

I am looking for LXDE versions you can download as an iso file and burn to a LiveCD and that have new versions of Firefox and OpenOffice included.

You can check the LXDE website to see their components listing and nowhere in the list does it show Firefox or OpenOffice to be included:
LXDE | LXDE.org (check the middle area of the page)
I still believe that it's a Linux distribution that includes LXDE, Firefox, and OpenOffice that is what you are looking for, and if that's the case, the search option at DistroWatch.com link posted above might help you to find the best option.oz
