    Question bootloader issues with dual-boot system

    im having an with windows 7 and ubuntu ubuntu intsalls great but it will never boot runs great on live cd dual boot grub works it gives me options but when i chose the linux option it just sits there if any one can point me in the right direction irealy want to use this operating sytem

    Hold on my friend, you're too fast that you even forgot to put commas and fullstops. Don't be that nervous.

    Though your post is not really clear with what you want to say, it seems like you were good to go with Ubuntu Live cd, but when you installed it along with Windows as dual boot, you can't seem to choose Linux from grub, right ?

    I'm sorry for the lack of information let's see if I can clairify
    When I select the Linux kernel in grub it starts to load and nothing happens I wait and wait

    Do you mean that nothing happens at all or that it appears to boot and then stops at a black screen?

    Either way, you may get more help in the Ubuntu specific forum (here)

    If it is the black screen, then the first thing you will be asked to do is press Ctrl + Alt + F1 to drop to a terminal and log in as yourself. Then run

    sudo lspci | grep -i vga

    and let us know the results so we can see what graphics card you are using.
