    install programs on wifiway

Hello everyone!! I had installed ubuntu on my desktop. But I removed it and i've just installed Wifiway on my hard disk. But I used to install programs by the Synaptic on Ubuntu. But now on Wifiway, there isn't an install programs manager like Synaptic. Should I install all programs by source code, with ./configure, make and make install??

    Thanks everyone!!!

Not familiar with wifiway, but I glanced around their website and didn't see any mention of a package manager.

It's based on Linux From Scratch, so unless they build a package manager and host a software repository, which it doesn't look, you would have to install additional software from source. It looks like a pretty specialized distro and not meant for general desktop usage.
