Hey everyone, working on my new Slax OS and having trouble again lol

I can add a user with 'adduser' in the terminal, but when I try to switch user the new account is not listed in users I can switch to.
The only way I can access this new user is 'su [user]' but from there I can't do much.

How can I set this new user up to where I can log in as him?

Also how can I disable automatic login?
