    Watchdog timer in grub

    Hi,

    Is there support for watchdog timer in grub?

    Can we make grub to fallback into another kernel if the kernel crashes while grub loads the kernel?

    I have read that there is patch to enable watchdog timer support in grub. But couldn't find the patch.

    Do you have any experience in implementing watchdog timers in embedded or other mission-critical systems? This is NOT programming 101.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
