    Which codes are you referring to? Do you mean command line code?
    Linux has a desktop pretty much like Windows, you can point and click on icons to launch them, if that is what you mean.

    Have you already installed a Linux distribution that doesn't boot to a Graphical User Interface (GUI)? If so, what did you install and what's happening on boot?

    Since you ask, "Where's that option?" it sounds as though you're using Linux but the experience is not what you expected. If you give us more detail, we'll be able to help better.

    There are hundreds of Linux distributions that provide that option. You might browse this site for info on what's available.

    Welcome to the forum. Yes, you can point and click for most of what a general user does. I very seldom use command line code, and only then folowing a solution googled online. Kind of like editing the registry in windows, most users never edit it unless they find a step by step solution on line.
