Consider an Apple iMac, defined by the software, look-and-feel, and hardware that make an iMac, then consider everything else. The answer to your question as it's currently worded is the set containing everything else PLUS some intersection with the Apple iMac.
Perhaps you could reword your question to reduce the answer set.

With linux, the distro/desktop/windows manager you use will change the look and feel depending on the combination. Ubuntu with gnome desktop looks and acts slightly different than Ubuntu with Kde, Xfce, LXDE, or other desktop installed. Mandriva with gnome will look and feel slightly different from ubuntu with gnome, etc. Each distro puts its own stamp on the linux kernal. Try several different distro's and see what appeals to you. I like the gnome and LXDE desktops, others like kde or xfce better. With linux you can mix and match to get what you like best.
