Caveat, I'm a Slackware and CentOS guy, but it should work the same way in Fedora. In your /etc/X11 directory, you should have an xorg.conf file (or a symbolic link to a file). This will list your available resolutions (usually in a list like "800x600" "1024x768" ...)

Add the resolution that you want that's supported by your video adapter, video adapter driver, and monitor. You can scroll through the available video resolutions with ctrl-alt-+ and ctrl-alt-- (the ctrl key, alt key, and {+|-} simultaneously) when you're in your X server. Fair warning, you'll have to shut down and restart the X server for the changes to take effect. You may also be able to do the same thing through a point and click Fedora interface, but that should get you there.

    Cheers.

But I haven't found such a file in X11 folder. There is a folder "xorg.conf.d" which only has one file "00-system-setup-keyboard.conf".

    When I click ctrl-+alt, got a warning "Display all 2046 possibility? (y or n)
    Not sure what is that.

Latest X Server doesn't use/create xorg.conf file and detect/configure Monitor, Graphics Card settings itself.

Which Desktop Environment are you using? KDE or Gnome?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Ah, yes. I remember now. My office mate was talking about how Fedora now does the xorg.conf on the fly. Try looking at the system-config-display script. You can create your own xorg.conf file, but that's probably more of a pain in the rear than you want

Do you have a Screen Resolution entry under your system -> preferences menu in Gnome? If so, that might get you there.

    Good luck.
