    UTF-8 Alternative/support for Eterm

I love Eterm becuase of the menubar, transparency support, and easy theming. My one concern is that it seems to lack UTF-8 support. Is there a way to enable it, or some alternative (I know rvxt has a rvxt-unicode version) that has similar features? All I really care about is transparency, and a built-in menubar for ease of configuration. I would be willing to use a terminal emulator with a configuration file so long as it can copy/paste, select, and has transparency. I don't need a scrollbar either, and would prefer to disable it.
