    How did you install it? Did you use Package Manager or compiled it?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Which Linux distro are you using? If you have installed LDAP using Package Manager then uninstall it through Package Manager only. You won't have any problem doing that.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
