Can not overwrite the existing files

Hi, I met a wild phenomenon. I run a command in a Linux terminal, the result was written to the desied folder. After I modified the command and rerun it. The old files are still there and not overwritten at all. Only it is successfull after I deleted the old files and run the command.

    Thanks.

It would be helpful to know what the command is that you're running and which distro.
