    linuxconf,netconfig,neat???

    Hi there,

This is my first post to the forum. Months ago I have setup my windows machine to dual boot with Red Hat but I have never used it. I decided to do something about it, booted into Red Hat and signed up with this forum.

I am using Red Hat 7.3 and I was looking at ways to configure my networking. I came across these 3 options:
    -Linuxconf
    -Netconfig
    -Neat

Only Netconfig seems to be the only one that works. Are the other 2 redudant in 7.3? I have a 7.2 book and it still talks about the other commands.

Is there an configuration screen in KDE I can use?

    Cheers

I don't know about your first question; I haven't used those helper tools in ages.
However, I'm pretty sure that there's a GUI config program, but they might actually have introduced it in 8.0. I'm not sure about the exact version. See if you have the redhat-config-network package installed (run "rpm -q redhat-config-network. If you do, you can use either the redhat-config-network command or the internet-druid command.
