    DVD burner

I have a DVD burner and it works fine, except that it
can't burn. when I click on the drive's 'properties' i see "0 Bytes used and 0 Bytes free",
while theres an empty disk inside.
can anyone tell me what the problem here is?
maybe I didn't configure the drive as a burning drive?

    thanks for the helpers

I'd look in bios and make sure plug and play is enabled along with making sure your bios recognizes your drive as a dvdrw first.
