pardus + tv tuner
hi guys n gals
ive been useing linux a little over the years on and off
from
susi
slackware
mandrakes
redhat
ubuntu
so on so forth
but today i installed a dual boot of pardas and windows 7 on my laptop
this is an impressive distro
but was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to use a hauppauge wintv usb stick with a tv turner package on pardus ?
im still a bit of a nooby when it comes to Linux really
i used wine and things like that to run windows based applications in linux, but was wondering if there is other ways of using this fantastic system to its full potential ?
thanks peeps

I'm not sure about Pardus, but this appears to run under Ubuntu, using the "tvtime" package available in the Ubuntu repository. Perhaps Pardus has a similar package available.
I found a link which might prove useful by doing a Google search using the terms. Unfortunately, it would appear that my post count is not high enough to allow posting of the link at "ubuntu dot flowconsult dot at slash en slash hauppauge-wintv-usb2 slash" but as you can see, there is always a way to skin a cat. As I've always said, Illegitimi Non-Carborundum! Good luck!
