I probably can't help you even if I knew more details, but I'll bet others here could. Help them help you:
What is your Linux distro/version?
What desktop are you using?
What have you tried?
Post your xorg.conf if you have one and have modified it.

This is how far I've got:
screens.zip results in monitor having bright green screen.
