Internet Radio Broadcasting
I have been using the different Microsoft O/Ses for a large number of years, and even though I have looked at and tried different Linux s/o's over the years, it has never been my primary software.
Well, I have a few computers sitting around doing nothing, and instead of just throwing them out, I figured that it would be nice to put Linux on at least one of them. Time for a new o/s.
I do a radio show for an online radio station, and the program that I had been using (SAM Broadcasting) has been giving me huge problems as of late. When I do make the switch to Linux on that computer, one of the things that I really want to do is to use the computer for my show.
Here are the desired requirements of the software:
a) Must be able to connect to a Shoutcast Server
b) Must be able to play MP3 files (hopefully other types also)
c) Should be able to handle live talk
d) Should have at least two decks that will fade from one to the other
I'm really looking forward to the move software wise.
