    Load Balancing and Apache

    So I use EC2 for my host. I run multiple websites using virtual hosts in apache on RHEL5. I would like to load-balance my web-server now for fault tolerance and know how to do this on the EC2 end.

    My question now is what does the other server look like? I can make an exact copy of mine but have no idea if this is the right way or if i should just spin up a bare bone server to handle the load. How does this work, do I need to configure apache for load balancing?

    If I make a change to the main server how does this reflect the other load balanced server?
