    Yeah, I've never done a capture to see what it actually sends, but it behaves like a "page down", not an actual clear of any of the screen buffer contents.

    I use┤d to make a alias for clear in my bash.
    if you put in:
    alias cls='clear'

    you would have the M$dos command ready ;p

    nowwadays i am on linux so often, i soon will have to make aliases in windows cmd to cope with commands hehe
    ls is one that kicks ma butt every time
